Swami Vivekananda’s ideas of man-making and character-building education serve as the guiding light for the educational activities conducted by Ramakrishna Math, Nagpur.
Monks of the Math regularly visit schools and colleges to motivate and guide the students as per the request of school authorities.
Youth conventions are organised regularly, either by math or authorized private centers.

Every year, Math conducts drawing and elocution competitions in schools in many villages. Math conducted competitions in 39 schools in 31 villages in 2023. All together, 2894 students participated in the competitions.

National Youth Day is celebrated every year on January 12th, the birth day of Swami Vivekananda, in schools in rural areas every year, in which a large number of students participate. Students organize various cultural events. Various competitions, including drawing, elocution, essay writing, etc., are held every year in many schools, and prizes are distributed to the students.
Rally and cultural programs: Every year, a rally is organized on January 12th, the National Youth Day, in rural areas. In this rally, students from various schools participate along with bands and lazims. The rally is converged into a public meeting in which the dignitaries deliver thought-provoking speeches. A large number of students attend speeches and cultural programs. Newspapers give wide coverage to this event.
