The 191st birth anniversary of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Dev was observed with great solemnity and devotional fervour at the Ramakrishna Math, Nagpur,on 19th February 2026. The sacred day commenced in the early hours of the morning with the Vedic chanting, creating an atmosphere imbued with spiritual serenity and reverence. This was followed by a special worship (puja) and Homa, performed with traditional rituals and deep devotion by the monks of the Order. The sanctified proceedings drew a large number of devotees, who participated with earnest prayer and contemplation. After the completion of the worship, a series of devotional hymns and bhajans were rendered, filling the precincts with melodious expressions of faith and devotion.

At noon, the Bhoga Aarti was performed with deep reverence, after which Khichari prasad was lovingly distributed among all the assembled devotees, symbolizing the spirit of sharing and divine grace. The evening programme was equally uplifting, beginning with the evening Aarti, followed by Sri Ramakrishna Naam Sankirtan and soul-stirring bhajans, which inspired deep devotion among those present.

The celebration witnessed an impressive gathering of nearly 3,500 devotees, all of whom partook of the prasad and were enriched by the spiritually elevating atmosphere of the occasion.
