The temple is the fulcrum of all the spiritual activities of the Ashrama. Guests and visitors can offer their prayers and meditate in the shrine. Everyone, irrespective of religion, caste, creed, race and nationality, is welcome to participate in temple activities such as worship, bhajans, Aratrikam, prayer, meditation and spiritual discourses.

Daily worship at the temple begins at dawn with Mangal Aratrikam, followed by Nitya puja (daily worship) of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Maa Sarada, and Swami Vivekananda. At dusk, Aarti (vesper services) is performed.
Timings
The shrine is open from 5.15 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Aratrikam, or evening prayers, will start according to sunset, which varies between 5:45 p.m. and 7.10 p.m.

The Birthdays of the Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, and Guru Purnima are celebrated in a grand manner with Naimittik Puja (special worship), homa, bhajans, musical program and spiritual discourses. Prasad is distributed to all the devotees who partake in the celebrations.

On Ekadashi (Every 11th Day of the lunar phase), Ramanama Sankirtanam (chanting the name of Lord Rama) is held after vesper services.
The birthdays of all the other direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna are as well as the Birthdays of other great Incarnations and world teachers like Gautama Buddha, Sri Shankara and Sri Chaitanya are celebrated every year.
